Dominican Institute & Seminary, Ibadan

A landmark sacred and educational complex for the Dominican order on Samonda Hill. Designed, built, and maintained across generations with Demas Nwoko and Anyibofu Ugbodaga, crowned by a bell tower that translates Christianity's crown of thorns through the vocabulary of Hausa vernacular pinnacles. Every material was sourced on site; every line was drawn to ventilate, admit, and shade the West African sun.
